Happy Thanksgiving!

November 24, 2014 Adrienne Cooley

Thankful for SHOES! Yep, first thing that popped into my head.  Am I normal or am I normal? Please don't answer that in the comment section. 😜

So what are you thankful for? My grandmother, Jean Spearman, had a shoe fetish and I FOR SURE got that gene from her! I am certainly thankful for every amazing pair I own, but they are not anywhere close to what I'm most thankful for.

A few years back, I realized that I really needed to pray for divine connections with the right people God had called me to connect with. I knew in my heart that I would begin to meet ministry women that, quite frankly, have always intimidated me. I am very much a "Keep it Real" kinda girl and had never felt comfortable doing that with all these "far more spiritual" type women than me.

Fast forward to today and I am sitting here blogging after spending the most amazing weekend with who would possibly become one of the most important divine appointments of my life, Heather Palacios. She spoke to a room packed full of local pastors' wives and so many amazing women from area churches at Happy Hour and Leading and Loving It Connect Local. Lives were changed and maybe even saved {I'm sure of it} like had happened to me a year ago when we met.

So back to Turkey & dressing & best of all CRANBERRY SAUCE...what am I most thankful for? Relationships!! No doubt.

May our relationships with people reflect and flow out of our relationship with our King. My first prayer is for YOU, that God grant you with divine appointments as He has for me that will enrich you in ways to forever be thankful for. Secondly, that I can be an answered prayer for someone like so many new and old friends have been for me!

Now go throw down on some yummies of the Holiday Season, enjoy your family and friends and let's put down our phones a little and have a super duper Happy Thanksgiving!!!
