~Happy Expectations~
What do you find yourself doing more? Being hopeful of happy expectations or dreading things going wrong?
Fear keeps us from hoping. You've heard people say it. "Don't get your hopes up! It's probably too good to be true anyway."
Well, that may be true for a doubter. But for a believer in the Name above every name, the King of kings, and the Lord of all lords, nothing is impossible! Go for it! Dream big! Yolo!
As you can see in the pic above, I naturally am a doubter. That txt volley was between my BFF & I. She knows me so well and speaks freely with me as do I with her. You can see that she was used to me expecting the worst. I had to remind her that was the old me.
So the back story was that our family had planned a great vacay for this summer to include NYC and all kinds of fun. Well, some unexpected expenses arose that caused us to need to have a staycation instead. Soooo as amazingly faithful as God always is, we were afforded the opportunity by family to have a week at the beach that ended up being just what the Dr. ordered.
Honestly, I am so much more of a believer these days now that my mind has really been renewed with God's Word to have happy expectations! Even though our summer didn't end up as planned, I truly did have happy expectations for it and am enjoying every day of it.

Don't let fear guide your life. Fear is what causes us to not have happy expectations. Just walk with God and do His will, believe, and be happy!
