Boundaries of Peace Part 2

Last week we laid the foundation for this week’s blog so if you didn’t get a chance to read last week’s blog, please go back and do so if possible.

This is such a key truth for our sanity. Seriously 😳

The gyst is this :

You need more peace? What you may need is more boundaries! Or you may have plenty of boundaries but you may need to fortify your walls with peace. And that is what this blog (Part 2) is about. We will do just like last week and study verse after verse with a short explanation of each to dig into Boundaries of Peace...

“The Lord gives strength to his people; the Lord blesses his people with peace.”

‭‭Psalm‬ ‭29:11‬ ‭NIV‬‬

• The Lord blesses us with peace! We have peace. He gives it to us. It is a spiritual blessing from Him. We just have to partake of it and choose to yield to it instead of stress.

“Consider the blameless, observe the upright; a future awaits those who seek peace.”

‭‭Psalm‬ ‭37:37‬ ‭NIV‬‬

• We want to rush and hustle and bust it for our future but God says those who seek peace, a future awaits them! I love that! I am trying to make a decision RIGHT NOW & trusting God to lead me by peace. It seems I should sacrifice and hustle on this certain thing, but I’m at this very moment praying for God to show me if what I think I am sensing to do (which is less and more peaceful) is what I am supposed to do. Work ethic is good and drives us but sometimes, peace says, less is more. When we seek peace, just doing that is an emotional boundary because instead of seeking other things, we create a boundary and seek only peace.

“May there be peace within your walls and security within your citadels.””

‭‭Psalm‬ ‭122:7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“He grants peace to your borders and satisfies you with the finest of wheat.”

‭‭Psalm‬ ‭147:14‬ ‭NIV‬‬

http://bible.com/111/psa.147.14.niv

“A heart at peace gives life to the body, but envy rots the bones.”

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭14:30‬ ‭NIV‬‬

• Peace is referred to as boundaries in these verses. I love that! You want your boundaries fortified? You fortify the walls of your boaundaries with peace! When we have peace as part of the strength of our borders, then we enjoy the finest parts of life! Look at that verse above. That’s what it is saying. How cool is that?! Peace is even a physical boundary. When we choose to have a heart of peace it gives strength and life to our very bones! Literally.

••• You need more boundaries in your life? What you need is more peace in your life! And the good news is it in inside of you. God has already given it to you but you have to tap into it! Fill your walls with it and watch your life be filled with more of the finer things as a result of it!

Happy Monday!
