God designed us to be relational. He created us to love us. God IS love the Bible tells us. Love is actually who He is!
God is love!
Harvard did a 75 year long study on the secret to happiness and what they found is that the secret is love. So Harvard scientifically proved that the key to happiness is love.
Love is Happy!
Well, of course! We as Christians are not surprised! God is the answer to our happiness! And God is love. So simply put God is Love is Happy!

So what does this mean in day to day life? Here's what it means.... when someone judges you, misunderstands your motives, is jealous of you or goes off on you, you want to get mad, hurt, explain yourself and retaliate. But when you understand that God is Love is Happy, you instead choose to please God and love people. "You may not always please people but you can always love them" I was taught recently by a minister friend who is wise beyond his years. This is such a wise statement and truly a key to being happy ANYWAY. So next time your love walk is challenged remember God is Love is Happy. This is how we can walk free from sadness, hurt, and relational pain!
