In 1700, English pranksters popularized April Fools’ Day by playing practical jokes. Though it is a holiday that has been celebrated by different cultures for centuries, the exact origin is a mystery. Some say it dates back to 1582, when the Julian calendar was switched to the Gregorian calendar, and as people were slower to receive news then or had otherwise failed to recognize that the start of the new year would become January 1, they continued celebrating the last week of March until April 1. These people became the punch line of jokes, but the jokes didn’t end there. The holiday filled with jokes/pranks spread from France to Britain to Scotland, wherein it became a two-day event.
Today is a reminder that sometimes, you just need to laugh!

Here's the deal. We are probably all facing something difficult right now as we read this blog! Stuff happens as our friend, Forest Gump so eloquently stated!! And when it does, we have 2 options:
1- to be afraid
2- to laugh
Number 2 is basically code for TRUST GOD! Trust that he's for you. Nobody can stop you from completing God's assignment for you. No force in hell is strong enough to keep you from your promotion you deserve or stop you from reaching your potential. The only person strong enough is YOU! We will determine our destiny and just as importantly, our here and now, by our choice to fear or laugh.
Trust me, it's so much more fun to laugh. So do like I've done lately, JUST LAUGH!
